Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? {An Update on Me}

So first off, no, I didn’t die off in the polar vortex or catch the clap. Secondly, I apologize for the lack of posts to the maybe 7 or so people who read this blog. I’m taking this time now to update you on all things Ruckus.

In chronological order since my last post:

-          A close friend of mine returned from her studies abroad so we hung out and watched a marathon of Downton Abbey season 3. Maggie Smith is a treasure!

-         The Originals: the big bad is revealed to be Celeste! What?! Love this plot twist.

-         The Vampire Diaries: Klaroline finally happened eeeeeeeeeeeee! Elena is really Katherine (these doppelganger story lines are getting old, TVD totally telegraphed this story arc), and surprise, surprise...Damon is evil again.

-         Pretty Little Liars, Spencer discovered that Ezra is Board Shorts/A! ERHMAGERD! Can’t breathe. Too Excited >. <

-          I actually spent 3 hours watching Bill Nye the Science Guy debate with Creationist Ken Ham over the viability of the Young Earth model.

-         I painstakingly photographed (I'm talking finding the right light/angle/propping a white bristol board for a background, steam cleaned, adjust and re-adjust light/angle/background) some stuff to sell and posted the pics on Kijiji and Facebook only to have a buyer from Kijiji back out from purchase and Facebook shut down my account.

-          Discovered a great place to get dosa (crepe with vegetarian filling, Indian cuisine)

-          Got consumed by patriotism from watching the Olympics.

-          Got consumed by Figure Skating. I have such a deep respect for Evgeni Plushenko and hope this man takes gold.

-          The Walking Dead returned last night! I didn’t think Michonne could get any more awesome. She’s primarily shown as a badass samurai. Then we got a glimpse into her past before the zombie apocalypse. She was into art, she was a mom. I really like that TWD writers are adding depth to this character, who deserves to have her background story told.

So basically, I watched A LOT of tv.
